The Salvation Army’s Single Women’s Shelter provides overnight housing for homeless single women seeking a warm, safe, substance-free place to stay. The shelter has a capacity of 30 women per night. It accepts all applicants on a first-come/first-served basis, with dinner beginning at 5 pm nightly. The number of nights an individual may stay is limited, but extensions may be granted to women working with their case managers to find permanent jobs and housing.
Shelter clients receive dinner, evening snacks, and breakfast the next morning. In addition to sleeping accommodations, the women have access to showers, a small lounge area, and laundry facilities.
