Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Training

Badgerland Jiu Jitsu partners with The Salvation Army in offering this program at the Community Center. Lessons are open to children ages 5 and older who hold a gym membership or are enrolled in a Salvation Army program.  It is a non-striking martial art similar to wrestling. The students learn self-defense and build self-confidence. Several Center youth have participated in tournaments, and one was state champion.
