Each year The Salvation Army of Dane County helps families register for holiday assistance, such as the Toys for Tots program conducted jointly by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and The Salvation Army.  

Registration Requirements

We enroll families residing in Dane County, with the exception of Middleton.  Middleton has its own, independent holiday assistance programs.  

To register, families must have the following:

• Photo ID for head of household
• Proof of address (utility bill, lease)
• Proof of income (SSI, SSDI, food stamps, WIC, Forward card or paystub if no assistance received)
• Form of ID for each member of household, such as:  birth certificate, photo ID, school ID, school enrollment, immunization card, TIN paperwork, passport, Social Security card, hospital footprints, or another "official" statement with member's full name and date of birth
