| The Salvation Army of Dane County is part of a religious organization that rings the globe, operating in more that 109 nations. Founded as an evangelical movement of the universal Christian Church, the world-wide mission of The Salvation Army is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Locally, the Madison Corps, located at the Community Center, 3030 Darbo Drive, operates much like an evangelical Protestant church, providing the spiritual foundation for the youth activities and social services that serve the community. The public is warmly welcomed to attend the Sunday worship services, Bible study groups, and activity groups that make up the Corps’ vital ministry. |
