Donations of money, goods, and time are the life blood of The Salvation Army of Dane County. Through the generous gifts of this community, we are able to offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support to our neighbors in need. Monetary and in-kind donations are described here. Monetary Donations
On-Line Donations
It is possible to make a secure on-line credit card donation to the Salvation Army of Dane County via the secure server at the international headquarters of The Salvation Army. Money donated on-line can be routed to Dane County for local use by those in need.
Donations by Mail
Donations can be mailed to The Salvation Army of Dane County in the form of a check made out to: The Salvation Army. If the donor wishes the donation charged to a personal credit card, written directions and the necessary card information may be mailed, instead of a check.
Unless directed otherwise, gifts will be used within Dane County. It is also possible to designate a donation for one of the programs described on this web site. In that case, the funds will be restricted for that specific use.

In-Kind Donations
Donations of in-kind goods are a major source of support for Salvation Army programs. Some of the items go directly to clients to meet their immediate needs, whether it is disposable baby diapers, personal care items, or warm clothing. Some items help in furnishing and maintaining the shelters, equipping youth activity areas, and operating day-to-day programs, such as the Emergency Disaster Service canteen.
